Historic Apartment in Kaunas Old Town

Set in the historic centre of Kaunas beside the cathedral, this project combines two separate apartments into one functional family home, preserving the building's authentic character — exposed red brick, arches and second-floor timber beams became defining features rather than constraints. In the kitchen, travertine stone meets minimalist classic fronts, with understated lighting letting the original masonry take centre stage. The parents' bedroom favours luxurious natural materials and classic detailing, while the children's play area reinterprets that aesthetic in a more playful, contemporary key.
